Christmas Party Desserts!

The Rowley girls were in charge of making the desserts
for the Christmas party at Grandma Norma's!

Nathan and Cammie were the best at frosting the cookies.

My Birthday!!

My family went to lunch with us at El Toro Viejo!
They told them it was both of our birthdays so we both had to wear the hats!
We also had fun taking pictures of Nathan's Elmo!

My birthday was a lot of fun! Brady took me to get my
nails done, to Chili's for dinner, to the New Moon movie,
and then to Charlies for ice cream!

Qwest Ice Skating Party

For Brady's work Christmas party
Qwest reserved the Eccles Ice Skating Rink!
Brady is a lot better at ice skating than I am!

See! Look at all those people flying past me on the ice!
I only fell once, right when Brady let go of my hand.

My favorite part of the night was the hot chocolate!

Thanksgiving Weekend!!

Thanksgiving Day!
This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with Brady's family. It was the Peterson family year so dinner was held at the church to accommodate all the people. The food was amazing and the pies seemed to outnumber the people attending! After dinner there was a volleyball game that lasted a few hours. It was way fun to see everyone get into the game, especially the uncles. I was also amazed at how well everyone could play. Following the game Rick and Julie took us kids out to see a movie. We went and saw "Planet 51" I personally liked it but I think the others were expecting a little more from it.
Black Friday!
On Friday Brad, Kendra, Brady, and I all went out shopping a little after three. Brad and Kendra were the smart ones and decided to shop at Walmart, which does not close so they did not have to wait outside in the freezing weather for the doors to open! Me and Brady on the other hand waited in line for Kohls for about forty five minutes and then at Best Buy for over fifty minutes! I was so frozen but it was a lot of fun! Also on Friday Rick and Julie took us to Chili's and then to see "the real movie" according to Rick. We went and saw "Old Dogs" I liked this one a lot more. It was fun to listen to everyone laugh at it.
Throughout the weekend there were also Ninetendo 64 Wrestling tournaments. I am not very good at the game because I cannot figure out the right buttons to push so I just push random ones really fast. My signature move was to drag my opponent around once they were knocked down. We also played an exciting game of Uno. Brady was the champion despite Rick and his cheating ways! :)
The weekend was full of entertainment and it is always enjoyable to spend time with the Shorts! Thanks for a great first Thanksgiving!
