On July 5th Xander turned one month old.
I cannot believe he is already one month!
I don't know what we used to do without him!
At four weeks I took him in to be weighed.
He weighed 8 lbs at his 2 week appointment and at
4 weeks he weighed 9 lbs 6 oz. He is starting to get
quite the little belly and his thighs are a little thicker
but other than that he is still a skinny little thing!
Xander has been starting to make little sounds and he smiles
at us all the time. He also smiles at his animals on his mobile.
He sneezes more like I do than Brady does. He almost always
sneezes twice in a row and sometimes three times. When he sneezes
his hands go into fists and then they fly up by his face when it comes out.
He is a really good baby and he pretty much only cries
when he is getting his diaper changed. When he is crying
he does little snorts and then sticks out his lip and pouts.
He loves to stretch and sometimes it is hard to hold him because
he is wiggling around trying to get in a good stretch.
Ever since he was born he has turned his head to the right.
We have been trying since then to get him to look to the left.
He does both ways but he definitely likes looking to the right most.
He is a really good baby and he pretty much only cries when
he is getting his diaper changed. He gets excited when he
sees his binki and starts moving his head back and forth
trying to eat it but it makes it harder to get in his mouth.
He is very ticklish. Especially his feet and his back.
He sleeps very well during the night and usually goes between
four and a half and five hours before I wake him up to feed him.
Sometimes he gets so wiggly that we have to swaddle him so that he will hold still
long enough to calm down and go to sleep. He likes having his blanket.
He follows Brady and I when we walk past him and he tracks his toys.
He likes being in his car seat and going for car rides. He either watches out the
window or he instantly falls asleep. He likes music and responds to different songs.
He responds the most to the Tabernacle Choir.

We sure do love our little one!
