Celebrating with the Shorts and the Nielsons

 Brady's family came up the weekend before Xander's

birthday to celebrate with him.

 We went to Old Grist for lunch and then

to a park to play.

 Xander liked having so many adults giving him attention.

 Then Xander got to open his presents before his nap!

 Yes, Zach is playing with the blocks in the background.

 We went to Angie's for dinner so Xander could

have pancakes. He had more fun playing in the

car and the water in the parking lot.

Zoo Day

 Brady took the day off work so that we could 

go to the zoo. It was a very nice day and we loved it!

 Xander thought it was funny to sit on the elephant.

He wasn't smiling for the camera because he was

too distracted by everything that was going on.

 Xander likes to steal people's spots they were sitting in

and when he got to sit where a kid was just sitting he said

he "Stole da spot!."

 These two were my favorite animals there!

 The brown bear was having fun swimming in the water.

 Xander loves his Dada!

 Each time we go to the zoo we take this picture

to see how big Xander is getting.

He loves riding the carousel. He was having a hard time

being patient and waiting for his turn.

 Rick and Julie wanted to have some family pictures taken

so we had Megan Muir Photography take them for us.

 We think that they turned out really cute!

Lagoon Day

 Each year Rick's work has a Lagoon day

that we all get to go to. We have a lot of fun together!

Pioneer Day

 Brady had the day off work so we 

started with breakfast at McDonald's.

 Xander loves his hash browns!

 Then we went to the Logan parade.

we were waiting for it to start.

 We love seeing these guys because 

it is crazy how high they get.

It was a fun Pioneer Day and we

enjoyed having Brady home from work!
