Nathan & Lydia's Birthday Party

Nathan turned 3 and Lydia turned one so they had
a combined birthday party. It was a Disney theme
focusing on Buzz Lightyear and Minnie Mouse!

Cammie did awesome making the cakes!

Lydia had Minnie ears on to celebrate.

They both got a lot of presents.

Nathan had fun popping all the balloons with
Grandpa's pocket knife. Then he would sit on
them to make them pop.

Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day I came home from my practicum
to find flowers, my favorite treats and drink and
a pretty new ring from Brady! I am spoiled!

The ring has seven hearts and three of them
have diamonds in the middle of them!

Then he took me to my favorite Mexican
restaurant in Logan, El Torro Viejo.

Then we went and saw Gnomeo and Juliet in 3D!
I really liked the movie. It was just silly and fun!

Lenora Mae Shorts (Grandma Shorts)

Brady's Grandma Shorts passed away yesterday.
She will get to be with her sweetheart
in Heaven for Valentine's Day!

Brady and I had the privilege of attend her
birthday party on January 1. Her birthday was the next day.
We had delicious cake and when it was cut it left
a lot of crumbs but Grandma made sure to put them
all in a pile so that it was not as messy!

Brady's favorite memory of his grandma is going to Wellington
and having Grandma cook breakfast for everyone. She would
make him Apple Jacks and fried spam. She always had a good
sense of humor that would make everyone laugh.
She will be missed. We love you Grandma Shorts!!!

Golden Spike Arena Rodeo

My mom and dad took us to the Golden Spike Arena
to watch the rodeo. We go every year!

It is always a lot of fun to make guesses on what the
best times or scores will be. Brady and I were on a
team an we won so Dad bought us ice cream!

Thanks for taking us Mom and Dad! It was a blast!

Hardware Ranch

It is a tradition for us to go to Hardware Ranch every year!

We always have fun riding in the sleigh in between the elk.

This year we went with my parents
and my sister Cammie's family.

This poor guy messed with some electric fence
and got it stuck on his antler.

This little bird kept jumping from one elk to the other
and none of them paid it any attention. It was funny!

This elk had one of it's antlers broken off.
It would have been huge with both of them.

Our 2010 Temple Goal

Brady and I made a goal to go to a different temple each month
during the year 2010. It took a lot of planning and driving
but it was so worth it! It was so much fun seeing all
the different temples and recognizing the blessings
that came from attending the Temple!

Manti Temple Trip

For our December Temple trip we went to the Manti Temple!
It was fun to go in the temple that my parents got married
in and to see the staircase everyone always talks about!

It was a long ride and the roads were really
snowy and slippery but it was worth it!

It was freezing cold there but we had to get our pictures!
