Fall Pictures

Brady took some pictures of my sister's family
so while we were up in the canyon we took some of us too.
I love when all the leaves start to change colors.

Utah State Fair

Brady, Xander and I went down to the State Fair.
Brady's family met up with us.

We walked around and looked at all the booths and
and animals and we went and saw Brady's photo he entered.
Then we went to the rodeo.
I really like this rodeo and it is fun how they bring the flag
in by having the guys jump out of the plane!
The clan at the fair, minus Brad who is being a butt and hiding.
It was a lot of fun and I am glad we were able to continue the tradition
of going to the fair with Xander!

USU vs U of U

We took Xander to his first football game on September 7th.
The Aggies were playing the Utah Utes.
It was a really good game and the Aggies won
27 to 20 in overtime!!!
Isn't he the cutest little Aggie Fan?!
It got a little chilly during the end of the game
so he snuggled in his jacket.

Brigham City Temple Open House

Brady, Xander and I were able to go with my parents to
the Brigham City Temple open house.
They had us park in a big parking lot and then they had a bus
take everyone over to the entrance of the parking lot under the temple.
Before we went in the temple.

Mom and Dad before the temple.
It was dark when we came out so the temple was all lit up.
It was a lot fun being able to walk through the temple.
They started the open house by having us watch a movie about temples.
The movie was in the parking lot under the temple and it was very hot.
Xander was really good and fell asleep during the movie and then he
stayed asleep until right when we walked out of the temple.
The temple is very pretty and I am excited to go do work there.

Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend down in Salt Lake because Brady was
entering a photo for the State Fair and he needed to hand it in.
On Friday it was Grandpa Peterson's birthday so we went and
had cake and ice cream with them family.
Xander really likes Great Grandpa Pete!
On Saturday we turned in Brady's photo and went shopping at City Creek.
This is in front of the waterfall at City Creek.
We were going to go to a Bees game that night but it was raining way hard.
On Sunday we went and visited with the Whitmers.
They had just bought a pony for their girls.
They named her Ivy. This was Xander's first
time on a horse. I think it was more his size then Shadow.
Brooke wanted to ride with Xander.
On Monday we went shopping at Cabellas and
then headed home to relax for the night because Xander
had a rough weekend. On Friday we had to take him to the
doctor because he choked really bad and his doctor decided it was
time to put him on medicine for his acid reflux. Then he
got his first cold over the weekend and had a cough and
a runny nose and would start choking at night when he would cough
so I would have to hurry and sit him up until he cleared his throat.
Poor little guy! He is a trooper though and still tries to be happy!

Lagoon Day

Each year my father-in-law's company does a Lagoon Day.
Brady drove down to spend the day there with his siblings.
Xander and I stayed home. Xander is still is not tall enough
to go on all the fun rides. Maybe next year we can go.

Brady humored me and took pictures but he only had
his phone so they aren't the best quality.
Zach and Kendra on Musik Express.
 On the Flying Aces.
 Air Race.

They didn't end up spending all day there because there
were not very many lines so they rode all the rides they
wanted too. Brady said that "It was fun!"

G-ma and G-pa Shorts Visit

Brady's parents came up for the day to visit.
They took us out to lunch and then we went home to visit.
Xander had so much fun when Grandpa Rick got
on the floor to play with him. Grandpa Rick can make
some pretty funny faces and sounds. It is no question where
Brady gets it from. Xander always talks to Rick and laughs at him.
They also took us out to dinner and then of course to Charlie's!
It is one of our favorite ice cream places and it is tradition to go there.
Then we went and walked around Kitchen Kneads. Brady and Julie
were able to get some good ideas for their annual Christmas chocolates.
Thanks Rick and Julie for coming up to visit. We had tons of fun!
