Brad Paisley Concert

For Christmas Santa gave Brady and I tickets to see
Brad Paisley in concert. (What a nice guy!)

On January 27th we were able to make a trip down to
West Valley to the Maverick Center.Brad Paisley is awesome to see live!
The stage had cool visuals. Not as cool as at
the Rascal Flatts concert though!
Carrie Underwood even came to sing Remind Me
with Brad Paisley!
I was excited because Scotty McCreery
and The Band Perry opened for him!It was really loud that the vibrations made it hard
to hear the words. $4 ear plugs made all the difference!

It's A Boy!

We found out on Tuesday, January 10th that we are having a BOY!!
We were pretty excited to finally know. I have had a feeling that
it was a boy and when ever I referred to the baby I would say he or him.
Brady was able to come to the appointment during
his lunch break and my Mom came too!
It was really neat being able to see all the details from
the ultrasound and to see him moving around.
The ultrasound tech said that everything looked great and that
all his measurements are where they should be.
At the visit they said he weighed 12 oz. and
Mom's first comment was, "That's a can of pop!"
I thought this picture of his feet was really cute!
Proof that he is a boy.
Next visit is the Glucose drink. Yay! :(

Brady Turns 24!

On December 30th Brady turned 24!He had to work for the first part of the day but his
team did a good job celebrating with him!
They decorated his desk and had a hat for him to wear.
For his birthday dinner he decided to go to Gaucho Grill.
I was excited that they had a good salad and pasta bar
and not just a bunch of meat. The boys enjoyed the meat though!
My family came and celebrated with us.
After dinner we went back to my parents house.
I had gotten a tent from my work so we set it up
for the kids to play in. They really liked it!
Lydia recently learned how to say Brady's name
but says it Bwady. She sure does love her uncle!Happy Birthday Brady!
I hope you had an amazing day!

24 Feels Old!

I turned 24 on December 22. I was pretty disappointed because
I thought Brady had to work all day. He was able to come home
for lunch time and didn't have to go back!

My family came into town so we went to the mall and
let the kids play in the little play area. Then
Brittany, Cammie and I went shopping at a few stores.

When Brady got off work we went to lunch and then he took
me shopping at the mall and bought me a shirt, hoodie,
and a really cute ring with my birth stone!

My Dad took us all out to Olive Garden for my birthday dinner.
It was a lot of fun to have everyone there to celebrate.

Thanks for a fun Birthday!!

Temple Square

On December 17th all my family went to
Temple Square to see the Christmas lights.
I was excited to go because I had not been for a few years.
It was fun to be with everyone!
It was really cold and there were a lot of people there
because it was also the night of the Mormon
Tabernacle Choir concert. It was crazy!
My mom and sisters.Dad and the boys. This is just a cute picture of Brooke enjoying
some pop before the crazy crowds.
She was in her stroller the whole time and I
was glad I got to push her around so the stroller
could keep some of the people away.

The Homestead

My sister gave Brady and I a gift card to The Homestead
for our birthdays. We were excited to be able to take a
little vacation before all the craziness of Christmas
We got to stay in the Summer Cottage!
I didn't know what to expect because I had never
heard of The Homestead before so I was way
excited to see all the cottages!
This was the inside of the room.
The Homestead is going to be completely renovated in
the next couple of months. I hope we can come back and
see all the improvements when it is finished.
This was the view from our front door the first day.
It snowed during the night so it was all covered in snow
when we woke up. I should have taken the picture then.

The night we got there we went to dinner at Dairy Keen.
I remember my family taking me there to get shakes and
to watch the train go all the way around the ceiling of the room.
It was fun to go back. They had a Christmas train going.

We decided to see a movie at the one theater they had in town.
They were only showing one movie, Breaking Dawn, but Brady said he
would take me to it. I liked the movie but being so nauseous from being
pregnant did not help my stomach during some of the blood scenes. While we waited for our show time we drove around town looking
for things to do. We found a big building that was having a
Gingerbread House auction. They had amazing houses! All the money raised went to support their Children's
Justice Center. I thought that was a fun fundraiser. This was one of our favorite house because it was huge!
That is Brady standing next to it so we could show how tall it was.

After the Gingerbread houses we found a couple Christmas
boutiques to walk through. In one of them there
was an artist/author, David Bowman, that Brady had discovered
on his mission in Arizona. We bought a picture from him and
one of his books that he autographed for us.

We ended the weekend by going to my sister Brittany's house for dinner.
It was such a fun weekend and a very much needed break.
Hopefully we can go again soon!

USU Football

Brady and I love going to USU football games.
This is at the USU vs. Louisiana Tech game.
Sadly USU lost the game in the quarter
but we still had a lot of fun!
